1. Voluntary Participation

I, the undersigned, understand that participation in Board Game Nights, Stranger Meet-Ups, and related activities conducted by Phoenix events and Activities is completely voluntary. I am participating by my own free will.

2. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that attending the Event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to:

Interacting with new people
Minor injuries from game activities
Emotional discomfort or disagreements
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Slips, falls, or other venue-related risks

I voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with my participation.

3. Personal Responsibility

I agree that I am solely responsible for:

My actions and behaviour during the event
My interactions with other participants
Protecting my own personal belongings
Making safe, respectful, and appropriate choices

I understand that Phoenix events and Activities does not background-check participants.

4. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Phoenix events and Activities, its owners, staff, volunteers, partners, and venue providers from:

Any injury (physical or emotional)
Loss of property
Harm caused by other participants
Any claims, demands, or legal actions arising out of my participation

This release applies to all present and future claims.

5. Behaviour & Code of Conduct

I agree to behave respectfully and follow the Event rules.
I understand that:

Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated
The organizers may remove me from the Event for misconduct
No refunds will be provided if I am removed for breaking rules

6. Medical Condition Declaration

I confirm that:

I am in suitable physical and mental condition to participate
I do not have any medical condition that prevents safe participation
I will inform organizers if I need special assistance

I acknowledge that the organizers are not responsible for medical treatment or emergencies.

7. Media Consent

I understand that photos/videos may be taken during the Event.
By signing this form:

I grant permission to Phoenix events and Activities to use my images for event promotions
If I do not wish to appear in photos/videos, I will notify the organizers at the venue before the event starts

8. No Guaranteed Outcomes

I understand that the organizers do not guarantee:

Successful matchmaking
New friendships
Compatibility with other participants
Winning any games or prizes

The event is purely for entertainment and social interaction.

9. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Phoenix events and Activities from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

My actions
My interactions
My breach of any event rules
